FloatDaddy™ Foam Lake Mats are manufactured in Lenexa, Kansas, right here in the USA! We believe in supporting American-owned businesses when creating our FloatDaddy lake mats. Sure, foam can be bought from oversees for more profit, but that's not what we are all about. Our lake mats are made with American-made high density, closed-cell polyethylene foam, not just because it's the right thing to do, but we believe that it is superior.
Our sturdy, closed cell, high-density foam floats higher on the water than the competition. And, our durable, smooth touch foam is comfortable to play on, so your kids don't get scratched-up elbows and knees, like on some mats.
Our foam has consistent coloring throughout each sheet of foam. FloatDaddy lake mat uses our signature UV-stable sky blue coloring, so the mats stay vibrant after years of use. Results have shown that foam with red, yellow or orange in the coloring, will tend to fade to be more pastel-like over time. Blue is less susceptible to sun-fading.
Because this USA-made close cell foam can't absorb water, these lake floats can remain on the water all day. FloatDaddy lake mats are made by heat-laminating three layered of this closed cell foam together, creating one super thick foam structure for superior buoyancy. Our 3-Ply FloatDaddy Lake Mats take buoyancy to a whole new level! At 2-inches of thickness, our lake mats are one of the thickest on the market! Even grownups can stand up on these!
